2024 National Day Awards
The Commendation Medal is awarded to a person who has distinguished himself through commendable performance and conduct, or significant efficiency, competence and devotion to duty.
The Long Service Medal is awarded to a person who is of irreproachable character and whom the President is satisfied has completed at least 25 years service in the service of the Government.

The 28th Global Chinese Conference on Computer in Education
Senior Teacher, Ms. Christine Huang Rui, presented a sharing titled “Utilize peer assessment and feedback in knowledge forums to enhance the writing skills of high readiness students” at the 28th Global Chinese Conference on Computer in Education Conference.
The Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education (GCCCE) was founded in May 1997 which is an annual event for Chinese and non-Chinese scholars, educators and policy makers to share and exchange the latest research findings in the field of computer education applications. The 28th Global Conference on Chinese Computer Education Applications (GCCCE 2024) took place from June 1 to June 5, 2024, at Southwest University, China. In response to the advent of the artificial intelligence era and its impact on digital learning environments, the theme of this year's conference is “Reshaping the Future Learning Spaces with Intelligent Learning Environments".
Ms. Huang’s sharing was well-received by the delegates at the conference who attended her sharing session.
Reimagining Pedagogy International Conference 2024
The Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference (RPIC), which took place from 28 May to 30 May 2024, is a flagship conference hosted by the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Our staff partnered faculty from the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice, NIE, to co-present a symposium titled “Sustaining idea-centric pedagogy through a Knowledge Building Community approach”.

Educational Guide Writer for The Esplanade Co. Ltd.
Our music teacher, Ms Yan Xiaojing was invited to be the Educational Guide Writer for the accompanying children’s activity booklet for the Esplanade Feed Your Imagination: Day Out! @ Esplanade programme. She applied her music expertise and collaborated with local artistes to design the activities and curated videos that engaged the public who attended the programme.
Senior Teacher (Art), Mdm Pang Ming Ing for the 2024 Academy Awards for Professional Development
As a member of the Art Chapter Core Team Chapter, she leads in efforts to champion professional collaboration and networked learning among teachers in the subject through different professional learning platforms. This also lends support for Teacher-Leaders in their professional growth.
She works alongside and learns from an Art Master Teacher (MTT) through co-designing and co-facilitating a Networked Learning Community (NLC) focused on the inclusive classroom.
